Weber State University is seeking a UI/UX Developer to help design, develop, and maintain the weber.edu website, with a focus on internal pages and site sections. In this role, you will also support university communications and marketing campaigns by creating media-rich, interactive user experiences.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years) in a related field
- 3 years of UI/UX design and development experience
You will work with HTML

- Experience with web design, usability, accessibility, and user testing
- Experience programming/coding HTML, CSS, and Java Script
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards
- Some experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent graphics programs
- Proficient technical learner
- Experience maintaining websites in a content management system
- Experience with Google Analytics and user experience principles to inform design, development, and maintenance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work productively both alone and in a team environment
This onsite position is located in Ogden, UT
, with an annual salary that starts at $60,000 and may increase based on candidate qualifications.
Remote work may be available for employees who consistently meet performance expectations after completion and approval of an Alternative Work Arrangement Agreement
