Senior Software Engineer - UK Remote Our client is a UK organisation that delivers essential support services to people facing some of life's most difficult circumstances. Their work helps people stay safe, find stability and move forward with their lives. They're now modernising the software behind these services and need a Senior Software Engineer to help lead that work. You'll shape systems that frontline teams and the people they support rely on every day.

What's on offer Salary up to £80,000 Fully remote within the UK 33 days' annual leave Pension and private healthcare Professional development and a clear route to progression A supportive, mission-driven team Work that makes a visible difference to people's lives What you'll do Lead the design, build and delivery of modern web applications Build APIs and scalable, cloud-based architecture on Azure Improve existing codebases, engineering practices and deployment processes Mentor engineers and build a team culture based on collaboration and high standards Work in Agile and Dev Ops ways to deliver reliable, well-tested software Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to design systems that solve real problems What you'll bring Extensive commercial experience with C#, .NET

and SQL Strong Azure experience, including cloud adoption frameworks A proven track record in API development and modern system architecture Vast technical leadership background Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing and code reviews A calm, practical approach to solving problems under pressure Excellent communication skills and experience working with diverse teams A background in Agile delivery Security clearance Our client works closely with the UK Home Office, so the successful candidate must pass SC Clearance.
