Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the overall software architecture for automotive systems, including embedded software, HMI, and connectivity modules.
- Establish software design principles, coding standards, and best practices for development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, systems engineering, product management) to translate requirements into architectural designs.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for software development.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development teams.
- Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to safety and security standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in automotive software architecture.
- Deep understanding of automotive software development processes, standards (e.g., AUTOSAR), and tools.
- Expertise in embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and system-level design.
- Strong knowledge of software security principles and safety-critical systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with proven ability to lead remote teams effectively.
