Job Description
As a Mobile App Developer at Nextbyte in a remote capacity, you will take full ownership of the complete mobile application development lifecycle, from initial architectural design through store deployment and post-launch maintenance. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, integrating RESTful APIs and push notification services, optimizing app performance and smooth animations, and ensuring rigorous cross-device compatibility.
You will participate in code reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for mobile app distribution. Working in a fast-paced software development environment at Nextbyte, you will drive mobile innovation and user engagement success.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance cross-platform and native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code in Flutter (Dart), React Native (JavaScript/Type Script), Swift, or Kotlin.
- Integrate mobile applications with secure RESTful APIs, GraphQL backends, and cloud databases.
- Implement robust state management solutions, offline data persistence, and smooth UI animations (60 FPS).
- Configure push notification services, in-app purchases, analytics tracking, and third-party SDK integrations.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, frontend engineers, and product managers.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical sprint planning sessions.
- Manage app store deployment processes, provisioning profiles, code signing, and release management for Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, component libraries, and version control repositories.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve mobile application crashes, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development and software engineering.
- Deep technical mastery of cross-platform mobile frameworks such as Flutter or React Native (or native iOS/Android development).
- Strong practical experience integrating RESTful APIs, authentication workflows, and cloud storage services.
- Proven proficiency in mobile UI/UX design principles, responsive layouts, and cross-device testing.
- Familiarity with mobile build automation, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git).
