Backend Django Engineer – AI & Algorithmic Systems; Fully Remote

• Fully remote backend engineering position based in India.
• Own features end-to-end, from database design to production delivery.
• Collaborate with a distributed international team on AI- and algorithm-driven products.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and evolve backend services, RESTful APIs, and domain models.
• Implement algorithms for scoring, ranking, routing, and optimization.
• Optimize performance through efficient queries, indexing, and caching.

Requirements:

• Strong Python and Django experience with solid PostgreSQL and SQL knowledge.
• Hands-on REST API design and implementation; DRF preferred.
• Comfortable working independently with high ownership and clear communication.
• Remote work with significant autonomy and fast iteration.
• Exposure to modern technologies including GCP, Redis, and Docker.
