Java Backend Lead

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Lead to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable Java-based backend applications and services.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Kafka/Messaging, databases, and cloud technologies
, along with proven technical leadership and stakeholder‑management experience.

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based backend applications and services.

• Drive technical architecture, code reviews, coding standards, and development best practices.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.

• Lead sprint planning, effort estimation, risk mitigation, and delivery tracking.

• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and support production issues.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive engineering best practices.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to overall delivery planning.

• 8+ years of experience in Java backend development

• Prior experience in technical/team leadership

• Strong hands‑on experience with:
