Remote Virtual Reality Developer; Gaming Focus

Our client, a forward-thinking technology company specializing in immersive experiences, is seeking a talented Remote Virtual Reality Developer with a strong focus on game development, based out of Mahikeng . You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge VR games and applications. Working remotely, you will collaborate with a global team of artists, designers, and engineers to bring innovative virtual worlds to life.

This role requires a deep understanding of VR hardware, game engines, and a passion for creating engaging, high-fidelity interactive experiences that push the boundaries of what's possible in virtual reality.

• Design, develop, and implement interactive VR game mechanics and gameplay systems using Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for VR applications, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
• Collaborate closely with 3D artists and game designers to integrate assets and refine user experiences.
• Optimize VR applications for various target platforms and hardware, ensuring smooth frame rates and high visual fidelity.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues related to VR interactions, physics, and rendering.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in VR technology, game development trends, and best practices.

• Proven experience as a VR Developer or Game Developer with a significant focus on virtual reality projects.
• Strong proficiency in C# (for Unity) or C++ (for Unreal Engine).
• Experience with VR SDKs (e.g., Oculus SDK, SteamVR) and hardware integration.
• Solid understanding of 3D graphics, game physics, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience in developing and deploying applications on major VR platforms (e.g., Oculus Quest, PC VR).
