Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.

These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

Implement end-to-end features and user stories, including analysis, design, development, validation, deployment, and post-deployment support

Analyze and document business logic in existing and legacy applications, and re-implement it as maintainable, well-tested software

Design, build, and optimize computation-intensive processing - improving the runtime, scalability, and accuracy of calculation-heavy workloads

Build and maintain validation and parity-testing frameworks that verify new implementations produce results consistent with the systems they replace

Work with relational databases and modern data platforms to design, query, and optimize data models and pipelines

Apply security principles and industry best practices when designing and building secure applications and APIs, including safeguarding sensitive and confidential data Contribute to the design and adoption of architectural patterns, engineering standards, and reusable frameworks

Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, code quality gates, and test automation frameworks

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments, including correctness and precision defects in calculation logic

Collaborate within Agile development teams, and directly with business and analytical subject matter experts, to translate domain rules into technical requirements and validated solutions

Leverage AI tools (including Copilot and related AI Builder tools) to enhance development productivity and efficiency

Demonstrate solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration across teams

Required Qualifications:
