About the Team

Launched in 2021, Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the online and retail sports betting subsidiary of Fanatics, a global digital sports platform. The Fanatics Sports book is available to 95% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S. Fanatics Casino is currently available online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Fanatics Betting and Gaming operates twenty-two retail sports betting locations, including the only sports book inside an NFL stadium at Northwest Stadium.

Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG) is building the industry’s most trusted, scalable, and fan-centric sports book experience. Our Internal Platforms team powers the systems that enable customer operations, marketing, support, and data-driven decision making—centered around Salesforce and deeply integrated backend services.

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer to develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions that support critical internal workflows and customer-facing operations. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong Salesforce development expertise, comfort working across integrations and distributed systems, and a passion for building high-quality internal platforms.

You will work closely with Marketing, Operations, Product, Data Engineering, and Backend Engineering teams to deliver robust Salesforce capabilities that integrate with third-party systems and internal APIs.

Responsibilities

Salesforce Engineering & Platform Development

• Build, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and declarative features

• Participate in the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce enhancements, from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
• Apply scalable and maintainable patterns for triggers, flows, automation, and custom components.
• Write high-quality, testable code with appropriate unit test coverage and participate in code reviews.

Integrations & Distributed Systems

• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external/internal systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
• Partner with backend engineers to design clean integration contracts between Salesforce and Java-based services.
