Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Software Engineer II with iOS development experience to join our Viator team. This role is open to candidates based within a commutable distance (generally within 2-3 hours) of one of our office hubs in Oxford or London. You can expect a remote-first working model with periodic in-person gatherings at your closest office for team connection, planning, or other key moments.
Our engineers take part in the full process from design, to code, to test, to deployment, and back again for further iteration. Our engineers focus on doing what they enjoy most and do best:
- Writing code
- Collaborating closely with Product and design teams to define feature specifications and develop high-quality deliverables for our customers
- Taking responsibility for all aspects of software engineering, from design to implementation, development experience, QA, and maintenance
Experience of developing an iOS app and familiarity with mobile web and back-end technologies would be beneficial. At least 3 years of commercial software development experience, ideally working with a rich user interface. Experience with reactive programming in native mobile platforms. High-quality verbal and written communication skills.
