Word Press Developer job at Tara Media. Remote.
Salary Range - $65,000 - $75,000
Location - Remote (Must reside in the US)
Responsibilities- Build and customize Word Press websites using Elementor from provided design files.
- Implement responsive, mobile-friendly designs.
- Manage and configure Word Press themes, templates, and page layouts.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot essential plugins and integrations.
- Configure hosting environments.
- Perform DNS updates.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate design concepts into functional websites.
- Ensure site performance, security, and basic SEO best practices.
- Provide ongoing website maintenance and content updates as needed.
- Assist in integrating web accessibility standards into our website portfolios.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as a Word Press developer, with a core focus on front-end technologies.
- Ability to accurately translate provided designs into functional Word Press pages.
- Basic understanding of web hosting and DNS management.
- Ability to troubleshoot common Word Press and hosting issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous agency experience not required, but a plus.
- Comfortable with project management and collaboration software, such as Airtable, JIRA, Wrike etc. Good to have, but not required.
