Senior NLP Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior NLP Engineer to lead the development of advanced Natural Language Processing capabilities, working entirely remotely. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and deploying sophisticated NLP models and systems that enable our client to better understand and interact with human language. This is a unique opportunity to shape the direction of our NLP initiatives from the ground up, working with a talented and distributed team on challenging problems that will redefine how users engage with our products and services.

• Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art NLP models and algorithms for tasks such as text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and machine translation.
• Build robust data processing pipelines for large-scale text datasets.
• Integrate NLP models into existing applications and platforms, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers to define NLP feature requirements and roadmaps.
• Conduct research into new NLP techniques and technologies to continuously improve our offerings.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall technical vision for NLP at the company.

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, AI, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in NLP engineering or research.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Proven experience with deep learning frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch) for NLP tasks.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and their application.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in a remote setting.
