Job Description ##

Job Summary Webstaurant Store  is the largest online restaurant supply company, helping food service businesses - from small cafés to major enterprises - get the tools they need to grow. Our catalog includes everything from commercial kitchen equipment to frozen foods, apparel, disposables, and more.

Webstaurant Store, a Clark Associates company, is looking for a proactive, curious Accessibility Engineer Intern to join our Accessibility engineering team for the Summer of 2027. In this role, you'll get hands-on experience contributing to our customer-facing e-commerce site, working alongside experienced developers who take pride in craftsmanship, collaboration, and strong team culture.

The Accessibility team assesses and supports accessibility for the customer-facing experiences that millions of shoppers use every day. Our work primarily includes reviewing UI for accessibility issues, providing designers and developers with guidance and resources (such as our Accessibility Wiki) to build accessible content, and even working in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React and Type Script to resolve issues or build accessibility tooling.

We're passionate about providing stellar accessible experiences to our disabled users.

As a Webstaurant Store remote intern, you'll enjoy the same training and support to be successful in your position as interns at our physical corporate locations. Intern networking and professional development sessions are available both virtually and in person. We stay connected through video meetings, training sessions, and collaborative forums, and provide opportunities for you to connect with other employees from across the country both professionally and personally.###

* Contribute to the Accessibility Wiki by creating documentation and sharing resources with developers, designers, and stakeholders.
* Collaborate with product designers, developers, and other accessibility engineers to learn how a feature goes from idea to accessible shipped product.
* Help maintain shared team tools, documentation and workflows with the guidance of your mentor.
