Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Lead Blockchain Architect to join their fully remote, elite technical team. You will be responsible for defining the strategic technical direction and designing the architecture for our next-generation Crypto & Blockchain solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of distributed ledger technologies, consensus mechanisms, and the broader Web3 ecosystem. You will lead architectural initiatives, mentor engineering teams, and ensure that our blockchain platforms are scalable, secure, and performant, driving innovation from concept to implementation in a globally distributed setting and setting the technical vision for the company's future.
Key Responsibilities- Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, secure, and robust blockchain architectures.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of blockchain technologies, protocols, and tools.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to blockchain development teams.
- Develop architectural standards, best practices, and patterns for blockchain solutions.
- Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical strategies.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture and design, with a significant focus on blockchain technology.
- Deep expertise in various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Polkadot, Cosmos) and consensus algorithms.
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex, large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, security principles, and smart contract development best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, with experience managing remote technical teams.
