Job Description & How to Apply Below
Calling all Full Stack Devs who speak fluent Node AND Java!
Fancy building services that millions of people across the UK actually use, all from the comfort of your own home? No commute, no train delays, no awkward office small talk. Just you, your keyboard and some seriously meaningful code.
We’re hiring a Full Stack Developer for a UK Government digital programme, and we want someone who’s done this before and knows their way around a service.
The deal- 100% remote, with no travel at all (your slippers are approved)
- BPSS clearance only, so no long SC wait
- Runs until end of March/April, so you’re sorted through winter
- Building citizen-facing services from front end to back end
- Crafting accessible, user-friendly pages with the Design System
- Writing solid back-end services in Java and Spring Boot
- Shaping cloud infrastructure with AWS and Terraform
- Writing tests that let the whole team sleep at night
- Plus: a bit of scripting magic
- Hands‑on MongoDB, AWS and Terraform
- A test-first mindset (Jest and Gherkin/BDD)
- Design System and Nunjucks experience
This one’s moving fast. Don’t let it grow without you!
