Role Overview
Multis UK Limited is hiring a Junior Backend Developer to work on production systems and online marketplace projects. The position offers flexible employment options (part-time, full-time, or contract) in a remote work setup.
- Develop backend features using PHP and SQL, and maintain REST APIs.
- Manage database operations, search systems, and external integrations.
- Perform bug fixing, testing, and application performance optimizations.
- Utilize modern AI development tools with guidance from senior engineering staff.
- Core Technical Knowledge:
Basic familiarity with PHP (or another backend language), SQL, Git, and REST APIs. - Soft Skills:
Strong logical and analytical thinking, willingness to learn, and reliable communication within a remote team environment. - Hands-on experience with PHP 8+, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure), automated testing, or AI coding assistants.
- Direct involvement with international production projects.
- Practical hands-on experience with modern backend technology and AI tooling under mentor guidance.
