Senior Fullstack Developer

This is a remote position.  We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team. Thisis more thana hands-on development role. We'relooking for someone who will elevate the team's engineering practices, mentor fellow engineers, drive technical excellence, and leadby example in building reliable, scalable, and maintainable software.  You'll work ona mission-critical enterprise platform responsible for managing the complete lifecycle ofproduct pricing across 100+ global markets . The platform powers everything from product catalog ingestion andcost modeling topricing calculations andthe distribution of finalized pricing datato downstream commerce and finance systems.  

Our technology stack includes a modern React frontend, multiple Spring Boot microservices supporting REST APIs, event-driven integrations, andbatch processing, shared domain libraries, andcloud-native infrastructure running on AWS (EKS, RDS, andS3), with integrationsacross Google Big Query and Apache Kafka . We follow atrunk-based development model with automated CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions , ArgoCD , and progressive environment promotion from Development through Production.  Success in thisrole goes well beyond delivering features.

You'll help shapethe team's engineering culture by improving code review quality, defining architectural patterns, reducing technical debt, strengthening testing and observability practices, and helping engineers grow through coaching, technical discussions,and mentorship. We'relooking for someone who raises thebar for theentire team—aforce multiplier rather than an individual contributor.  AI-First Engineering  AI-assisted software development is acore part ofhow we build software. We're looking for an engineer who already usesAI coding assistants such as Cursor , Claude Code , Git Hub Copilot , Kiro , or similar toolsas part oftheir daily development workflow, not asan occasional productivity aid, but asan integral partof software design, implementation, debugging, testing, documentation, and code exploration.  

Beyond personal productivity, you'll help theteam adopt effectiveAI engineering practices by developing reusable prompts, project context, steering files, MCPconfigurations, and team workflows that improve developer effectiveness while maintaining high standards for cod equality, security, and engineering judgment.
Requirements    
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years as Senior Software Engineer or Technical Lead.

• Expert-level Java 17+ (preferably 21), Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA and Hibernate, with strong command of architecture, concurrency, performance, resiliency and error handling.

• Strong frontend experience with React, Type Script and modern state management (React Query, Zustand or equivalent), able to design scalable frontend architectures.

• Deep knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL: schema design, query optimization, indexing, transactions and migrations.

• Proven experience designing and evolving production-grade REST APIs (versioning, authentication/authorization, pagination, validation, backward compatibility).

• Strong testing mindset: unit, integration, contract and end-to-end tests, with quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid experience with modern development workflows:
Git, trunk-based development, code reviews, automated CI/CD and static analysis.

• Working knowledge of cloud-native applications on AWS (EKS/Kubernetes, RDS, S3) or equivalent, including containerization, scalability and observability.

• Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI products (building, integrating or operating them in production).

• Leadership potential and genuine interest in leading the team, including mentoring, technical direction and raising engineering standards.
