We are seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to work with Microsoft/Azure technologies in a team environment using industry‑standard best practices. An exemplary applicant will have a strong knowledge of the .NET Framework in the C# languages, an ability to work on several projects at once, the skills to professionally troubleshoot issues, the ability to work independently, and the acumen to work with customers directly.

In this role, you will apply software engineering principles to design, develop, maintain, test, and deploy client software projects while keeping your sights on solving business problems. We are looking for someone who is innovative, self‑driven, and has a strong technical focus combined with a team‑oriented attitude.

We would ideally like someone willing to work hybrid onsite at our Cohoes, NY office, but we are willing to consider EST‑based remote workers who are able to visit our office with some frequency.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software development experience on modern Microsoft platforms, including C#, ASP.NET Core, Razor, Blazor, Minimal APIs / Web APIs, and .NET 8/9 (LTS) is preferred
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and modern source control workflows (Git) is a plus
• Skillful in writing unit and integration tests using xUnit
• Experience with RESTful and/or gRPC API design
• Hands‑on experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Git Hub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, or similar to accelerate development, code review, and testing workflows
• Experience building and architecting new solutions from the ground up
• Experience with Angular, React, Vue.js, or equivalent SPA with a strong understanding of web development is desired
• Experience working in a blend of on‑prem and cloud environments
• Skillful in writing Unit and Integration Tests
• Expertise in SQL Server or equivalent relational database experience
• Practical experience using Entity Framework Core or relative ORM.
• Experience working on an Agile / Scrum Team environment
