Senior Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client is searching for a meticulous and experienced Senior Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer to join their fully remote development team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability for our automotive software and systems. You will design and implement comprehensive testing strategies, develop automated test suites, and work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects throughout the product lifecycle.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for automotive software and embedded systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using relevant tools and languages.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and stress testing to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate closely with software developers and systems engineers to understand product requirements and provide timely feedback on quality issues.
• Analyze test results, generate detailed defect reports, and track bug resolution through to closure.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies within the team.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a significant portion focused on the automotive industry .
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Python scripting).
• Strong understanding of automotive software development processes and standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262).
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Test Rail).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
