Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Backend Developer, Software Testing
We are seeking talented early-career Software Engineers from leading technology companies to contribute to a remote AI project focused on evaluating code, designing challenging engineering tasks, and improving advanced coding models.
You will review AI-generated code, assess technical reasoning, create realistic software engineering problems, write reference solutions and tests, and provide detailed feedback on debugging, architecture, and implementation quality.
What You'll Do- Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, maintainability, and overall engineering quality.
- Identify bugs, edge cases, incomplete implementations, and poor design decisions in generated solutions.
- Create realistic coding problems based on real-world software engineering scenarios.
- Write high-quality reference solutions that demonstrate correct and maintainable implementations.
- Develop test cases that distinguish correct solutions from incomplete or incorrect approaches.
- Review model reasoning related to debugging, software architecture, APIs, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Assess whether proposed technical solutions are practical and aligned with professional engineering standards.
- Provide detailed written feedback explaining what is correct, what is wrong, and how a solution could be improved.
- Help create increasingly challenging engineering tasks that test real-world coding ability.
Additional relevant backgrounds include Mobile Engineers, Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Security Engineers with strong coding and debugging experience. Requirements
- At least one year of professional software engineering experience at a leading technology company.
- At least part of that software engineering experience must have occurred within the past three years.
- Strong programming and debugging fundamentals.
- Ability to evaluate code for correctness and quality.
- Ability to write technically sound reference solutions and test cases.
- Good understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain technical decisions clearly in writing.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Professional experience building production software at a major technology company or high-quality engineering organization.
- Experience with backend, frontend, full-stack, systems, infrastructure, mobile, or platform engineering.
- Experience performing code reviews or reviewing pull requests.
- Experience writing automated tests or debugging production issues.
- Experience designing coding exercises, interview questions, technical assessments, or engineering benchmarks is helpful.
- Experience with APIs, databases, distributed systems, cloud services, or production applications is valuable.
This opportunity is ideal for early-career software engineers who have strong fundamentals, can quickly understand unfamiliar code, identify subtle implementation problems, design realistic engineering challenges, and clearly explain why a solution succeeds or fails.
