Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer - Software, Java Developer

We're looking for Software Engineers to join a collaborative Agile team developing next-generation cloud-based applications using the latest technologies. You'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design through to development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Based at a client site in Surrey or North East England
- Hybrid working model with 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home
- Develop software using Java and cloud technologies
- Build and improve cloud-based applications and services
- Write clean, reliable and easy-to-maintain code
- Create reusable solutions that help improve team productivity
- Write unit tests and support automated testing
- Take part in design and code reviews to maintain high quality standards
- Ensure applications are secure, scalable and well documented
- Work with your Agile team to deliver projects and meet sprint goals
- Experience developing software withJava
- Experience building cloud-based applications or services
- Knowledge of unit testing and software quality practices
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Ability to write clean and maintainable code
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with Dev Sec Ops tools such as Tekton, ArgoCD or Sonar Qube is beneficial
- Experience with Open Shift, Kubernetes, Quarkus or Angular would be an advantage
