This professional will work in a hybrid capacity out of one of the following offices:

Baltimore, MDSecaucus, NJMarlborough, MAOther locations nationwide are available. The Senior Bioinformatics Engineer-LIMS is focused on advancing patient care through innovative software solutions. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain applications handling genetic data. Collaborating closely with the Data Science, Bioinformatics and lab teams, the developer will work in an agile environment, contributing to the modernization of our systems while enhancing their own technical skills.

Work Experience:

3+ Years of Relevant Experience.

Proficiency in modern software development practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, version control, testing frameworks).

Experience with Python, Java script.

Familiarity with agile methodologies.

Test-driven development mindset and experience writing tests.

Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

Work Experience:

Knowledge of the health industry or interest in genetics and bioinformatics.

Experience implementing solutions in the cloud. AWS is preferred.

Demonstrated experience in designing and orchestrating complex data workflows, pipelines, and RESTful/JSON-based APIs.Knowledge:

Proficiency in full stack development, including front-end, back-end, and databases.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous learning.

Skills:

Adaptability to new tools and technologies.
