AI Product Development Engineer

$120000 - $125000 per year | Indianapolis, IN | Hybrid | Permanent

We are working with one of America’s leading providers of services to people with developmental, behavioral, and intellectual disabilities across the country. They are currently building out a new product, and have partnered with a team to help with the product launch! They are seeking an AI Product Engineer to join the team out of Indianapolis.

We are seeking a hands-on AI Product Engineer to help develop and implement an innovative AI-powered product for a mission-driven organization. This role will serve as the internal technical expert, partnering with an external vendor to guide product development, testing, and eventual campus-wide implementation. The product is currently in development, with an anticipated launch in approximately one year.

• Partner with an external vendor to guide technical development and product implementation.
• Integrate AI capabilities into software applications and existing systems.
• Support testing and troubleshooting of camera-based AI technology across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and refine product functionality.
• Help guide the product from development through launch.

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, machine learning, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI into software applications.
• Computer vision experience is a major plus.
• Strong technical problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Passion for using technology to make a meaningful impact.
