As a Senior Back End Engineer
, you’ll design, build, and maintain the core services and infrastructure that power Quanata’s products and business operations. You’ll develop scalable back end systems, connect data and machine learning workflows, and help ensure the platform remains performant, reliable, and secure.

You’ll take ownership of complex product features from design through deployment while contributing to architecture, data flows, APIs, databases, observability, and platform reliability.

As a senior individual contributor, you’ll also have the opportunity to shape technical decisions and support other engineers through mentorship, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.

• Design, develop, and maintain client-facing and internal APIs that support product and business functionality.
• Architect and orchestrate data flows across back end services, applications, and third-party systems.
• Design and manage database schemas and data storage solutions that support scalable applications.
• Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex product features from concept through deployment.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and contribute to software quality and reliability.
• Evaluate, integrate, and support third-party services, tools, and platforms.
• Improve system architecture, performance, observability, security, and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing across the engineering team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 6-8 years of experience in back end or full-stack software engineering roles.
• Working knowledge of the Go programming language, and professional experience developing applications and services using Go, Python, Ruby, Type Script, or C#
