We are seeking a highly driven technologist with strong technical and analytical skills who can work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, solve complex application development challenges, coordinate with users to determine requirements, and ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.

• Work effectively with the PMO, Development, Product Management, Business and Technical Operations, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, Networks, and Architecture teams.
• Perform new development, maintenance fixes, and enhancements to meet business requirements.
• Draft and review architectural diagrams, specifications, business requirements, and other design documents.
• Design, develop, and optimize database-driven applications using Oracle and Sybase, with a strong focus on complex SQL, data modeling, stored procedures, performance tuning, and database troubleshooting.
• Document technical requirements, program and subsystem designs, resolutions to system problems, project task descriptions, effort estimates, and unit and integration tests.
• Develop a robust understanding of company products, services, and processes to identify optimal solutions.
• Mentor other software developers.

• Self-motivated, highly organized team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, learns quickly, and works independently.
• Minimum of 10 years of software development experience, including extensive hands-on experience with Oracle, Sybase, or other relational databases and advanced proficiency in complex SQL, database design, data modeling, stored procedures, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Strong Python scripting skills with experience developing and maintaining scheduled jobs for data processing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with C or C++ is preferred.
• Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Go is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in using version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
• Practical experience working within the Scrum framework and using Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
