About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their quality assurance team in Depok . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of their software products. This role involves collaborating closely with development teams to identify testing needs, implement effective automation strategies, and continuously improve the testing process.
Your expertise will be critical in delivering high-quality software that meets stringent standards and user expectations.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using relevant frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Identify and report software defects with detailed steps to reproduce, collaborating with developers for resolution.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test strategies for various software modules and features.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and feedback.
- Analyze test results, generate comprehensive reports, and provide insights into product quality.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for test automation, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium Web Driver, Cypress, Playwright).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured) and performance testing tools.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
