Senior AI Ethicist

Our client is seeking a pioneering Senior AI Ethicist to join their fully remote team, focusing on the responsible development and deployment of artificial intelligence technologies. In this crucial role, you will champion ethical considerations, ensuring that AI systems are fair, transparent, and beneficial to society. You will work closely with research, engineering, and policy teams to embed ethical frameworks and best practices into every stage of the AI lifecycle, contributing to a future where AI is developed and used responsibly and equitably.

• Develop and implement ethical guidelines, frameworks, and best practices for AI development and deployment.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments and impact analyses for new AI products and features.

• Collaborate with legal, policy, and communication teams to ensure compliance and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Develop training materials and conduct workshops to promote ethical AI awareness across the organization.
• Monitor emerging ethical challenges and regulatory landscapes related to AI globally.

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Philosophy, Ethics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on AI ethics.
• 5+ years of experience working on AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology policy.
• Deep understanding of ethical theories, AI technologies, and their societal implications.
• Experience in developing ethical frameworks, conducting impact assessments, and advising technical teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
