About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Frontend Web Developer to join their innovative digital team. You will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into actual code that will produce visual elements of the application in Kimberley . This role requires a strong understanding of web development principles, proficiency in modern frontend technologies, and a passion for creating seamless user experiences.
You will collaborate closely with backend developers and UI/UX designers to build and maintain responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing websites and web applications, working remotely to contribute to impactful digital projects.
- Develop responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing frontend web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ensure adherence to coding best practices, style guides, and performance standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions on technical solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in frontend web development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular).
- Experience with responsive design principles and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
