Remote Senior Software Architect

Our client, a pioneering tech firm specializing in cutting-edge SaaS solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Architect to join their fully remote team. This role is critical in defining the technical vision and architecture for our next-generation products. You will be responsible for designing scalable, resilient, and high-performance software systems that will shape the future of our platform.

• Architect, design, and document scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software systems.
• Lead the technical design of new features and services, ensuring alignment with overall architecture strategy.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance our software development lifecycle.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design patterns.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to engineering teams.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and architects on technical matters.
• Identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and roadmap for our technology stack.
• Champion a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a senior architect or lead role.
• Proven experience designing and building complex, distributed systems using modern architectures (e.g., microservices, event-driven).
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Go.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in designing APIs and microservices.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Dev Ops principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
