Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Telecoms Software Developer to lead the development of cutting-edge software solutions within their telecommunications division in Mahikeng . This role involves designing, coding, testing, and deploying robust software applications that support critical network functions, service provisioning, and customer management systems. You will work in a collaborative, agile environment, contributing significantly to the architectural decisions and technical direction of the software products that power our client's services.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications for telecommunications environments.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using relevant programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications.
- Implement robust testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects and performance issues.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development , with a focus on telecommunications systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go.
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of telecommunications protocols and standards.
