Remote Lead Software Engineer; Backend

• Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and efficient backend services and APIs.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code in languages such as Go, Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
• Mentor and guide a team of backend engineers, fostering best practices and professional growth.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features.
• Optimize application performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and ensure scalability.
• Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance backend development capabilities.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java, Node.js).
• Extensive experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, databases (SQL/No
  
  SQL), caching mechanisms, and message queues.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in remote teams.
