QA & Security Testing Specialist Engineering Hybrid — online & offline

As a QA & Security Testing Specialist, you'll work closely with our engineering team to ensure that our products are reliable, secure, and ready to deliver a high-quality learning experience. You'll be responsible for testing our products, identifying bugs, validating system behavior, and helping establish quality assurance and security testing practices across our platform, starting with Melmora. You'll collaborate with software engineers to test new features, evaluate API behavior, identify potential vulnerabilities, and ensure that changes don't break existing functionality.

Your work will help us build a dependable foundation as our products evolve.

• Understand functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Familiar with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Understand basic web security, authentication, authorization, and common vulnerabilities.
• Able to document bugs and technical findings clearly.
• Familiar with test automation tools or scripting languages.
• Understand OWASP Top 10 or OWASP API Security Top 10.
• Familiar with testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or pytest is a plus.
• Familiar with security testing tools such as Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP is a plus.
• Familiar with REST APIs, microservices, Docker, CI/CD, and performance testing is an advantage.
• Understand cloud security and secure software development practices is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team.
• Interested in education technology and/or applied AI.
