About us
ASTech is a web development company. We design and build websites and web applications for our clients. Our team works remotely, and we are looking for a clear and friendly communicator to help us stay in touch with the people we work with.
About the role
As a Technical Communication Specialist, you will call our clients and partners, keep them updated, and help set up meetings with our development team. You will talk about our web development services and basic technical topics in plain, simple language.
You do not need to be a senior developer. A basic understanding of software, websites, and IT is enough. What matters most is clear spoken English and feeling comfortable on the phone.
What you will do
- Call existing clients and partners to share project updates and follow up on open items
- Keep regular contact with the people you work with
- Explain basic web and technical topics in a clear and simple way
- Schedule calls and meetings between clients and our development team
- Keep accurate notes of each call in our tracking system
- Work closely with our team to complete daily tasks
- Stay professional and friendly on every call
What we are looking for
- Basic knowledge of software development, web development, or IT
- Clear and confident spoken English
- Good communication and people skills
- Comfortable making and taking phone calls
- Able to understand and talk about technical topics
- Reliable, organized, and able to work on your own
Nice to have
- Experience with phone calls, customer service, or client support
- Experience using a CRM or call tracking tool
- Some hands on experience with websites or web apps
Pay and schedule
- $40 per hour
- Part time, remote
- Paid weekly for all hours worked
- Performance bonuses and pay raises based on performance
