• You want to be the technical voice in the room - on a sales call one hour, whiteboarding an integration spec with an agency dev the next
• You're a builder - you'd rather sharpen an in-progress onboarding process into something scalable than wait for a finished playbook
• You'll have a manager who clears the path, not one who watches every step

• You can't hold your own with a CMO one hour and a developer the next - both audiences need the real answer
• You need a fully-built process handed to you. This one's yours to stand up

• Partner with AEs as the technical lead on prospect and expansion deals - scoping what's native vs. custom, and giving buyers the confidence to sign
• Run technical discovery on a brand's stack (Shopify plan, headless, subscription, loyalty, CDP, ESP) and turn it into a clear path to launch
• Own the external developer and agency partner onboarding process end to end - docs, environment setup, sandbox access, rules of engagement
• Author specs for integrations and custom builds, review partner deliverables against them, and unblock developers as they build
• Feed recurring partner and customer needs back to Product as structured input for the roadmap

You'll be a true owner from first technical call to shipped integration, working side-by-side with Sales, Product, and partner developers, while staying close to merchants to deliver value early and iterate quickly.

• 3+ years in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a partner/developer-facing technical role - ecommerce, SaaS, or Shopify ecosystem strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of web and mobile commerce architecture: APIs, webhooks, data integrations, and what's configurable vs. what requires custom dev
• You can scope an ambiguous ask into a clear spec, and say "yes, here's how," "yes, but," or "not yet" with equal clarity
• Bonus: hands-on Shopify experience (Liquid, Storefront/Admin APIs), agency-side background, or front-end/mobile dev chops
