COLSA is seeking a Service Now Developer to support our NASA Transformational Shared Services (NTSS) contract supporting the NASA Shared Services Center at Stennis Space Center, MS. This position will support the development, configuration, and enhancement of Service Now applications and solutions to automate and improve business processes.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates residing in the United States, excluding the following states: AR, CT, DE, HI, IA, KS, MT, NE, NJ, NY, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. Candidates within reasonable commuting distance of Stennis Space Center, MS, may be preferred to support potential onsite needs associated with the contract.

• Recommend solutions to automate new and existing business processes using Service Now applications and modules.
• Activate and configure Service Now applications to meet business and customer requirements.
• Develop workflows and scripts to configure and enhance existing Service Now applications.
• Develop custom Service Now applications from initial design through implementation to automate and improve business processes.
• Work closely with customers to research, design, develop, and deliver solutions that improve business processes and functionality.
• Assist in identifying and applying best practices for the development and maintenance of Service Now applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving software applications, system integrations, and multiple platforms.
• Support system and software deployment planning and ensure solutions meet applicable software compliance standards.
• Evaluate hardware and software interfaces, operational requirements, and overall system characteristics.
• Develop and maintain software and technical documentation in accordance with organizational standards.

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of overall information technology experience.
• 1+ years of experience developing Service Now workflows, including client-side and server-side scripting.
• 1+ years of experience with Service Now modules, including but not limited to IT Service Management (ITSM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), IT Financial Management (ITFM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Knowledge of information technology software development methodologies and scripting/programming languages.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to successfully complete a background investigation for a NASA Public Trust position.

• Resides within reasonable commuting distance of Stennis Space Center, MS.
• Service Now certification, such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Previous experience supporting NASA IT programs or environments, with familiarity with applicable NASA processes, policies, and operating requirements.
• Experience with web services and databases.
• Knowledge of .NET, JavaScript, web development, and Service Now development.
• Internal candidates who are at risk due to loss of project or contract funding may be given preference.
