NCPDP Healthcare EDI Consultant opportunity.

Work Arrangement: Mostly remote, with occasional travel to the client site.

We are seeking an experienced NCPDP Healthcare EDI Consultant to lead the technical design, development, and implementation of healthcare data integration solutions. The role requires strong expertise in NCPDP EDI transactions, particularly post adjudication standards PAS 53 and PAS 45, along with experience supporting software development life cycle (SDLC) activities and implementation projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and high quality healthcare data exchange solutions.

• Expertise in NCPDP EDI transactions, particularly post adjudication standards PAS 53 and PAS 45.
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Experience supporting implementation projects.

• Experience with product based data integration and ETL solutions.
• Experience developing and maintaining healthcare data exchange integrations.
• Knowledge of healthcare data quality, governance, and compliance standards.
• Experience providing technical leadership, conducting code reviews, and guiding development teams.
• Experience troubleshooting, optimizing, and enhancing data integration workflows.
• Experience supporting production deployments and resolving integration related issues.

• Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of product based data integration and ETL solutions.
• Work extensively with NCPDP EDI transactions, specifically PAS 53 and PAS 45.
• Develop and maintain integrations supporting healthcare data exchanges.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and guide development teams on best practices.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance data integration workflows.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with applicable healthcare standards.
• Support production deployments and resolve integration related issues.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to support successful implementation and ongoing integration operations.
• Full SDLC support for implementing the PAS 53 standard within the existing EDI system.
• Technical design and implementation deliverables for healthcare data integration solutions.
• Developed and maintained integrations supporting NCPDP EDI transactions.
• Testing, validation, and production deployment support for integration solutions.
• Technical documentation and implementation support materials.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
