Build online gaming technology with Ubisoft Montréal using modern C++, distributed systems, and low-level programming expertise.
As a Senior C++ Engine Programmer, you’ll work within Core Services - Online Tech Foundations. You’ll design and evolve middleware supporting online services across Ubisoft productions. The work spans game engines, networking, low-level systems, and engine-integrated web components.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop reliable, high-performing, maintainable C++ middleware
- Contribute to architecture choices and technical direction
- Improve code quality through reviews and good practices
- Solve complex problems and optimize performance
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders
- Advanced modern C++17, C++20, or C++23 proficiency
- Strong software architecture and complex systems expertise
- Deep knowledge of memory management and multithreading
- Experience designing optimized algorithms and data structures
- Excellent debugging, profiling, and analytical abilities
