Android Developer PayPal

As our new mid-level Android Developer, you will build, test, and deploy MongoDB services that keep our business running. This is a remote opportunity built for someone who wants to own outcomes, sharpen Flexibility, and grow with a tight-knit team.

• Partner with QA to define test coverage and catch regressions early
• Guard the gRPC codebase quality through reviews that teach as much as they catch
• Mentor the mid-level cohort through their first real CI/CD on-call at Pay Pal
• Ship incremental improvements to Pay Pal's Woodbury platform on a regular cadence
• Keep Pay Pal's MongoDB CI under ten minutes so Woodbury, MN engineers stay in flow

• Comfort being the newest person in the room and the loudest in the notes
• The diplomacy to align stakeholders who don't agree yet
• Solid understanding of technology best practices and industry standards
• Real curiosity about why Pay Pal customers do what they do
• A Woodbury grounding, or the adaptability to plant roots quickly
• Hands-on familiarity with Continuous Learning, sharpened by Angular side projects

Pay Pal began as a side project in Woodbury and grew into the documentation-first platform thousands of technology users now rely on. Decisions at Pay Pal come with a name attached, because ownership without accountability is just noise.

We pay $88,000 - $119,000 and protect it with coaching, coverage, and a flexible setup so your Angular grows without burning you out.

Nothing stale here: the Android Developer slot was re-confirmed open earlier today.
