Remote Automotive Software Developer; Embedded Systems

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for automotive ECUs (Electronic Control Units) and related systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C/C++ code for real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define software requirements and ensure seamless integration.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Debug complex software issues across various hardware platforms.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of new embedded software features and systems.
• Work closely with product managers and systems engineers to understand requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing software modules and frameworks.
• Actively participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) developing embedded software, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded development tools (compilers, debuggers).
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for effective remote teamwork.
