Vice President; VP) of Quality Engineering – Fixed Income​/Capital Markets

• Lead Quality Engineering strategy for Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Middle/Back Office capital markets applications.
• Perform hands‑on Python programming and develop automated tests for API, UI, and end‑to‑end workflows.
• Test migration of legacy capital markets systems to a new platform, including automation porting, regression testing, and workflow validation.
• Validate trade capture, valuation, collateral, cash flows, settlements, clearing, SWIFT payments, reconciliations, accounting, and regulatory reporting.
• Test derivatives products, including swaps, swaptions, and listed derivatives.
• Establish QA governance, test coverage, defect tracking, and automation standards using tools such as Jira and Xray.
• Collaborate with Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor quality metrics, automation coverage, defect leakage, and testing efficiency.
• Support CI/CD integration, performance testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering experience in Capital Markets, with strong Fixed Income and Middle/Back Office domain knowledge.
• ** Hands-on Python programming experience is mandatory.**
• Strong experience in API, UI, automation, regression, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Practical knowledge of Fixed Income products, swaps, derivatives, and post‑trade processing.
• Experience with legacy system migration, data validation, and automation framework migration.
• Knowledge of capital markets platforms such as Calypso, Murex, Broadridge, or proprietary systems.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Selenium or similar UI automation tools, SQL, and test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab, or Azure Dev Ops.
• Proven experience leading QA initiatives, defining test strategies, and establishing governance standards.
