- Own high-level system design and architecture decisions for features, services, and platform components
- Perform technical evaluation of tasks, initiatives, and projects
- Collaborate with Team Leads and other Tech Leads on technical roadmap alignment
- Support incident resolution and root cause analysis for complex production issues
- Contribute as an Individual Contributor (IC) to critical or complex parts of the system
- Drive technical excellence and ensure alignment with company-wide engineering standards
- Ensure code quality, reusability, scalability, and extensibility
- Provide high-level effort estimations and support planning activities
- Mentor engineers and contribute to their professional development
- Assist Team Leads in defining and executing Personal Development Plans (PDPs)
- Promote knowledge sharing, documentation, and engineering culture improvements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including prior experience in a senior or lead engineering role
- Proven experience in Scala and Java
- Experience designing and building scalable distributed systems in product-based or B2B environments
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong system design, architectural thinking, and deep understanding of software engineering best practices
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and effective technical communication
- Upper-Intermediate (B2+) level of English and Ukrainian or Russian
- iGaming domain experience
