Cryptocurrency Exchange Developer

Our client is a rapidly expanding cryptocurrency exchange platform seeking a skilled Cryptocurrency Exchange Developer to join their innovative and agile team. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining the core systems that power our exchange, ensuring a secure, reliable, and high-performance trading environment. You will work on complex back-end systems, trading engines, wallet integrations, and APIs, contributing significantly to the growth and success of the platform within the competitive Crypto & Blockchain landscape.

• Develop, test, and deploy high-performance trading engine components and related microservices.
• Design and implement secure and efficient cryptocurrency wallet functionalities and integrations.
• Build and maintain robust APIs for exchange access, order management, and data feeds.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and security teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Implement and optimize algorithms for order matching, risk management, and other critical exchange functions.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the platform against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and financial systems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in backend development, with at least 2 years focused on financial systems, trading platforms, or cryptocurrency exchanges.
• Proficiency in high-performance programming languages such as Go, C++, Java, or Rust.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading mechanisms, and order book dynamics.
• Knowledge of cryptography and blockchain technologies is essential.
