Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer we want has shipped Cypress to production, broken it, and learned more from the second part than the first. This CA role reads like an upgrade — $124,000 - $194,000, remote hours, 5 years valued, and a path that does not dead-end.

• Investigate, diagnose, and fix bugs reported by users and monitoring tools
• Land Cypress performance wins Nestle can measure in CA retention numbers
• Translate problem-solving business requirements into technical specifications and tasks
• Translate Microsoft Azure metrics into the one chart Nestle leadership checks each morning
• Set the AWS coding standards the rest of Nestle engineering follows
• Ship the AWS delightfully-weird rewrite that pays down years of Nestle technical debt

• Proven leadership experience guiding senior-level initiatives
• Confident communicator across email, calls, and in-person meetings
• The humility to revise strong opinions when the data argues back
• A ruthlessly-focused bias toward action, balanced by knowing when to wait
• An instinct for prioritization when everything is labeled urgent

Nestle is a feedback-driven, fiercely independent Fairfield company that would rather earn trust slowly than buy attention quickly. Autonomy here comes with a partner: ask for help the moment you're stuck on MySQL.

Land here and your reward starts at $124,000 - $194,000, then climbs alongside the mentorship, flexible hours, and benefits we keep stacking on top.

Actively staffed and live, this Fairfield, CA opening is no relic.
