Data Engineer

The Data Engineer we're hiring will inherit a technology codebase with good bones and a few skeletons; RSM is honest about both. What makes this RSM role different is the ownership; the $91,000 - $126,000 and temporary hours are just the entry fee.

• Ship Jupyter experiments fast, kill the losers, and double down on what sticks
• Build Process Improvement dashboards so RSM's technology team stops asking engineers for numbers
• Catch the purpose-soaked Delegation regression in staging before it ever reaches Gresham customers
• Keep the technology MLflow service humming through Gresham's holiday traffic surge
• Keep the R build pipeline green so Gresham deploys never wait on a red light
• Keep Process Improvement schemas backward-compatible so RSM never forces a breaking upgrade
• Own the mid-level Presentation Skills workstream that unblocks the rest of RSM's Gresham, OR roadmap

• Working knowledge of Jupyter alongside transferable MLflow chops
• Clarity of thought that shows up in tidy documentation
• 4+ years putting Jupyter to work in a technology setting
• A writer's ear for tone in a high-stakes email
• Comfort with temporary arrangements and the rhythms of an unfussy workplace
