Machine Learning Engineer

We're hiring a Machine Learning Engineer for the unglamorous, essential work of making Pandas fast enough that nobody notices it at all. A part-time Machine Learning Engineer post in Ontario that values A/B Testing over 4 years, pays $106,000 - $137,000, and never boxes you in.

• Ship MLOps experiments fast, kill the losers, and double down on what sticks
• Translate technology compliance rules into Process Improvement guardrails baked into the build
• Coordinate releases with stakeholders across Ontario, CA and remote teams
• Spot the genuinely-flexible Hugging Face anti-pattern in review before it spreads through Pinterest
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs powering core Pinterest products

• Fluency in MLOps earned the hard way, not just from a tutorial
• A teammate's instinct to unblock others before yourself
• An Ontario network, or the hustle to build one from scratch
• The judgment to distinguish a fire drill from an actual fire

A generously-mentoring startup out of Ontario, Pinterest is rethinking what technology software can be. You'll find a flat structure where the best argument wins, regardless of title.

Pinterest offers $106,000 - $137,000 plus the autonomy to set your own schedule and the support to keep growing.

This role is being actively staffed, with offers expected before the quarter closes.
