Software Engineer - Remote

10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in San Diego, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position can be worked fully remote from the following hub locations:
San Diego, Temecula, LA, Phoenix, Bay Area, Tuscon, Portland, Vancouver B.C., WA, Seattle, Eureka, Bend, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Chicago, or Milwaukee. Compensation: $54.00 - $64.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:

This role will be part of an agile team focused on designing, developing, and maintaining the UI and APIs for a centralized account and consent management system. The ideal candidate will build responsive frontend and backend applications using modern frameworks like Spring Boot, Java, and Angular, and deploy containerized applications to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of an agile team Design, develop, and maintain UI and APIs for a centralized account and consent management system Ensure APIs are scalable, low latency, and fault-tolerant to meet business and customer needs Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like JUnit, Mocha, and Karma Design and optimize database schemas and queries to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design, development, testing, and quality control Ensure code quality and reliability through continuous testing and code reviews Ensure secure access to APIs and data Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git Hub Actions Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of software Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and APIs Identify and resolve bottlenecks to ensure high availability and responsiveness Document API specifications, design decisions, and development processes Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and partners to gather requirements and provide technical support Primary Requirements:
