Senior UI Developer – React & AI-Native

Cogniify is hiring a Senior UI Developer to build fast, intuitive and visually rich interfaces for AI-powered workflows. This role owns frontendarchitecture and works closely with product, design, backend and AI teams in anearly-stage, zero-to-one environment, helping shape the product, codebase anddesign system from the start.

You will lead the development of our React applications, design real-time UIs that stream model output and generative content, and take concepts from Figma to production with close attention to typography, motion,spacing and micro-interactions.

• Lead the development of React-basedfrontend applications for our products.
• Own frontend system design, including component architecture, state management, data synchronization and rendering strategies that scale to multi-session, collaborative use.
• Build responsive, real-time UIs that connect to REST APIs, Web Socket streams and AI inference services, including streaming model output and generative content.
• Take concepts from Figma to production with close attention to typography, motion, spacing and micro-interactions.
• Collaborate on multimedia features,including dynamic visuals, embedded audio and video, and generative content.
• Implement client-side telemetry, user behavior tracking and error logging.
• Take part in code reviews, testing and performance audits.
• Keep up with AI UX patterns, frontendperformance techniques and creative coding frameworks.

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade web applications.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience building AI-native product experiences, such as streaming responses, agentic workflows or real-time generative content.
• Experience with modern build toolssuchas Vite, Webpack and ESLint.
• Design engineering skills, including
  
  Figma fluency and prototyping motion and interaction, with a portfolio thatshows consumer-grade UI craft and strong design instincts.
• Experience with RESTful services,streaming APIs or Web Socket communication.
• Understanding of responsive design,asynchronous data handling and performance optimization.
• Experience with data-instrumented UIs,using analytics and error-logging tools such as Amplitude or Datadog.
• Strong grasp of UX best practices and component-driven architecture, including frontend system design for component boundaries, data flow, real-time sync and performance budgets.
• Experience building products from zeroto one in a startup or early-stage environment, with little spec or teamsupport.

• Experience with video, audio or creative visualization frameworks such as Three.js, D3, Canvas or WebGL.
