This fully remote role is crucial for creating breathtaking visual effects using industry-leading game engines like Unreal Engine. • Create and implement high‑quality real‑time visual effects using particle systems and physics simulations within game engines.
• Develop realistic and stylized simulations for elements such as fire, smoke, explosions, water, cloth, and destruction.
• Optimize VFX assets and simulations for performance across various target platforms.
• Collaborate with art directors and technical directors to achieve the desired visual style and quality.
• Work closely with level designers and environment artists to integrate VFX seamlessly into scenes.
• Develop custom shaders and tools to enhance simulation capabilities and visual results.
• Troubleshoot and debug VFX systems to ensure stability and performance.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in real‑time VFX, simulation techniques, and engine technology.
• Manage assets and ensure efficient integration into the project pipeline.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and propose innovative solutions for visual effects challenges.

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a VFX Artist, with a strong focus on real‑time simulations and dynamics.
• Proven experience creating high‑fidelity real‑time VFX for games, film, or interactive applications.
• Expert proficiency with Unreal Engine's Niagara or similar real‑time VFX systems.
• Strong understanding of physics‑based simulations and particle systems.
• Experience with Houdini or other procedural generation tools for VFX is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in shader authoring and understanding of P  workflows.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and texturing software is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote setting.
