Remote Senior Software Engineer; Backend

Our client, a pioneering fintech startup with a global reach, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their fully remote engineering team. • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve backend software systems and services.
• Build scalable and high-performance APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
• Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or No
  
  SQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
