Senior Mobile Application Developer; Remote

Our client, a fast-growing international tech company, is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer to join their fully remote team. This is a fantastic opportunity to design, develop, and maintain high-quality native mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for the entire mobile development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. • Design, build, and maintain advanced native applications for the iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Work with backend developers to integrate with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and best practices.
• Mentor junior mobile developers and contribute to knowledge sharing.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Proven experience developing native iOS applications (Swift/Objective-C) and/or Android applications (Kotlin/Java).
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON integration.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging, push notifications, and performance monitoring tools.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience with cross-platform development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
• Experience working within the Western Cape region is not required, as the role is fully remote.
